Answers to the questions we get most, and a direct line to a human when you need one. We aim to reply to every email within one business day.
Open the app and either allow location access or type your zip/postal code. Grocezy lists the shops closest to you first. You can browse as a guest before creating an account.
Open a shop, then speak or type what you want in plain language. There's no catalog to pick from — describe the items the way you'd say them at the counter, including quantities and any notes.
Check that Grocezy has microphone permission in your phone's settings, and that your device's speech recognition language matches the language you're speaking. In a noisy shop, typing is usually faster anyway — the mic is optional.
Make sure notifications are enabled for Grocezy in your device settings and that battery optimisation isn't suspending the app in the background (common on some Android devices). If they're still not arriving, email us with your device model and we'll look into it.
In store, directly to the shop, when you collect your order. Grocezy has no in-app payment for goods and adds no fee or markup.
Message the shop in the order chat as soon as you can. Since nothing has been paid for, cancelling is straightforward — but please do it before they've prepared it, as a courtesy.
Use the account deletion option in the app's settings, or email us at privacy@grocezy.com from your registered address. Deletion removes your profile, order history and saved preferences. See the Privacy Policy for what's retained and why.
Sign up in the app or at app.grocezy.com and add your shop name, address, category and opening hours. There's no catalog or product list to enter — you're usually live in under ten minutes.
In your shop settings, in the app and in the web portal. Your public page lives at go.grocezy.com/yourshop, and the QR code is downloadable for printing.
Grocezy sends heads-up notifications for new orders, but the operating system can suppress them. Check that notifications are allowed, that Do Not Disturb isn't on, and that the app isn't being force-slept by battery saver. Keeping the portal open on a tablet at the counter is a reliable backup.
They auto-cancel after a while so your queue stays accurate and customers aren't left waiting on a shop that's busy or closed.
Turn on holiday/vacation mode in your shop settings. Customers see a notice explaining you're away and can't place orders until you switch it off.
Only on the web portal at app.grocezy.com, under Subscription. Billing runs on Stripe; the customer portal there lets you update your card, download invoices and cancel yourself at any time.
$9.99 USD per month or the equivalent in your local currency, with the first 2 months free. See the pricing page for the full comparison.
Cancelling stops future renewals but doesn't cut the period you've already paid for. If you believe a charge is wrong, email support@grocezy.com with the invoice number from your Stripe receipt and we'll sort it out.
Yes — every invoice is downloadable as a PDF from the Stripe billing portal linked in your subscription settings.
Sign up on the affiliate portal. It's free, and you'll get your referral link straight away. Full details are on the affiliates page.
Referrals are attributed when the shop owner signs up after opening your link. If a shop you referred is missing, email support@grocezy.com with your affiliate code and the shop name and we'll check the attribution.
Once you have an eligible balance and a connected payout method — Stripe Connect or PayPal. Request it from the dashboard; timing depends on the method and your country.
Fill this in and it'll open your email app with everything already filled out — or just email us directly. Either way it reaches the same inbox.
